In honour of my niece, who is moving out West with her musician boyfriend, I have made up some new designs for guitar pick earrings! I have many music themed items in my online Etsy shop:
So I am following the advice of many marketing mentors and am utilizing social media to its fullest. Here is my latest YouTube video; a tutorial on how to make Snowman Earrings. They are super-cute and were a HUGE success this holiday season!

Hockey finals are underway. I had a lot of fun making these Montreal Canadiens items. The t-shirt was inspired by Kaylim’s funky up-cycled clothing designs http://kaylim.etsy.com Unfortunately I cannot sell the jewelery due to copyright laws. I’ve approached the merchandising people but have not had any luck…guess they buy only mass-produced products!
Thanks so Bryan at Emphasis Sports Marketing http://www.emphasissportsmarketing.com/ for requesting these designs.
I began an interest in the Montreal Canadiens when Myriam’s half sister came to visit last year from France. All her boyfriend wanted to do was see a hockey game, so I splurged and got tickets for the two of them to go. Not to be left out, I took Myriam to a nearby resto/bar and we watched the game on the big screen while indulging in pizza and (root) beer!!! I had made Melodie a pair of wire Canadiens earrings to wear to the game and have since made beaded versions of the logo as earrings, pendants and ornaments. (I give these to friends as gifts…they are not available for sale due to copyright laws). A couple weeks ago I had a “flash” that I had to make myself an artsy Habs t-shirt. The shirt was created by cutting up old t-shirts into the shapes of the Canadiens logo and loosely stitching them onto one of my existing shirts. Very easy and fun!
